Public project summary

This research project looks at the growing disparity between students enrolled in the ‘advanced’ and ‘lower’ lanes of each core subject, specifically math and english. The goal is to determine the types of stigmas that are created through laning, and if any demographic is particularly affected. After surveying a range of students from each grade level, we hope to be able to identify core issues shown in each grade, especially grades that offer Advance Placement (AP) courses, and relevant district wide solutions.
