Public project summary

Food insecurity is a significant issue in the world today. Vertical farming is an extremely efficient and cost effective way to grow food and it takes up very little space. Vertical farms at home could be a possible solution or aid to the growing issue of food insecurity. This project uses experimentation by maintaining a vertical farm to analyze whether vertical farming could be a viable option to help combat food insecurity.
