How Can Ocean Therapy be Utilized to Lessen the Repercussions of Anxiety Disorders for U.S Citizens in the Bay Area?

In the United States, over 40 million adults have an anxiety disorder in a given year (Nami, 2017). With this, 7% of children aged 3-17 experience issues with anxiety each year, and most develop symptoms of a disorder before the age of 21. As traditional therapeutic methods to treat said Anxiety disorders have remained the same in the last 10 years (Department of Veterans Affairs), the study aims to look for an alternative method to treat these disorders.
