Educating Teens to Provide Support for Underaged Sexual Abuse Victims

Public project summary

Action Research Project through Changemaker Project. Many students who have experienced sexual violence do not receive any support because they do not want to report the crime and therapists, teachers, etc. are all mandated reporters. These victims might not be mentally prepared to report which leaves them with no one to speak to. In collaboration with qualified therapists, we will create a curated website in which students can anonymously share their story and create training materials to help peers better support those who have experienced sexual violence.
