Public project summary
Approximately 8 million adults are diagnosed with some type of walking balance disorder. Majority of the testing is done by using subjective assessments in a physician’s office. The goal of this project is to take the subjectivity out of these tests to make the process more efficient and increase the accuracy of the results by using computer technology to improve patient care. The computerized results can also help keep track of the patient’s progress and is a step into the modern world of technology.
